Kia and Meredith Integrated Marketing (MIM) contracted with Incept for help in generating new car leads from its existing customer base, as well as qualify existing leads generated from a "Hand Raiser" list of prospects that showed interest in receiving more information about the Kia Borrego.
Once it was determined that the potential customers were interested, their information was transferred to sales representatives at local dealerships. All data relative to prospects not immediately transferred, was captured and sent to each dealership on a daily basis. This information was also captured within a Kia project summary report that was sent daily to MIM.
Following the completion of the lead generation program, Incept conducted closed loop customer calls to measure the effectiveness of the sales process, specifically related to the scheduling and fulfillment of the test drive.
Kia Motors is South Korea's 2nd largest automobile manufacturer and the American arm is Kia Motors America. On October 20, 2006, Kia Motors America formally hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its first US assembly plant in West Point, Georgia. Since 2005, Kia has started to focus on the European market and is currently the UK's fastest growing car company.
