“We contracted with Incept primarily for lapsed donors but have grown to include apheresis conversion and current donors as well. Their insight into scripting and donor database management makes them a valuable partner in donor recruitment. Incept surpassed our annual lapsed donor goal within the first two months of the year! Their results speak for themselves.”

Monica Lang - Director, Donor Relations
Lifeblood Mid South Regional Blood Center

Incept has been working with Lifeblood since 2007 and continues to conduct strategic conversations with their blood donors. In fact, these conversations are built to ensure the donors needed most are recruited, retained and converted based on the requirements of the blood center.

The creation of a true regional blood center became a reality in January 1975, when the board of directors changed the name from The Community Blood Plan of Memphis to Mid-South Regional Blood Center. In 1984, Lifeblood was adopted to easily identify the blood center to more than 600,000 eligible blood donors in Shelby County. Today, Lifeblood collects about 60,000 units of blood and blood components each year from a donor base of about 33,000 people.
