As an added feature of the Growth Awards Program this year, 11 specialty awards will be presented. Honorees will be grouped into three categories according to their lines of business: manufacturing, technology or service. Category recognition for outstanding sales growth, employee growth and best overall success story will be announced at the Growth Awards Program. The Legacy Award will be given to a company that has demonstrated exemplary economic/community impact throughout the greater Akron region since the establishment of the Growth Awards Program. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award will be awarded to a local business leader who best exemplifies entrepreneurship by leading a dynamic, growing organization and inspiring others through innovative business practices.
Cascade Capital Corporation will recognize all Growth Award honorees at its Business Growth Awards Program on October 9, 2014 at the Knight Center in downtown Akron. The Class of 2014 Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Awards will be featured in the October edition of Smart Business Akron.
