Incept’s Sam Falletta Attends TEDxSummit in Doha, Qatar

TEDxAkron founder attends summit in the spirit of Ideas Worth Spreading.

April 26, 2012

CANTON, Ohio - Incept President and CEO Sam Falletta had the opportunity to travel to Qatar for the experience of a lifetime. The inaugural TEDxSummit, "The power of x," brought together 650 TEDx organizers from 90 countries around the world to talk about driving positive social change.

When Falletta founded TEDxAkron, (which hosted its first event in October 2011) he knew he had become a part of something unique. However, his experiences so far could not prepare him for the impact his trip to Doha, Qatar would have on him.

"It was humbling and inspiring to be surrounded by such an intelligent and motivated group of people who executed inspiring ideas in their countries. The most fascinating part of the event was how universal the desire for progress is right now. Although everyone had different backgrounds and were facing different challenges, everyone was eager to collaborate and help each other."
